Russian Federation: Public appeal case. The case of Timur Soltakhanov

According to his disabled mother, Timur Ibragimovich Soltakhanov was out buying food in the market when a group of masked policemen came in search of a suspected member of an armed opposition group. The law enforcement officials started shooting at the shoppers and Timur Soltakhanov was injured by one of the bullets and then detained. When his mother turned to the local procuracy, she was told that no one by the name of Timur Soltakhanov was known there. Amongst other concerns, this appeal case urges the authorities to release any information they may have about his whereabouts.
