In this statement Amnesty International regrets that crucial issues, such as the alleged involvement of authorities in the US-led programme of secret detention and renditions in the context of counter-terrorism measures, were left out of the UPR Working Group reviews of the three countries. The Romani community continues to suffer in the Czech Republic and Romania and there is still focus on identity-based violence and discrimination in Romania and Poland.
