Dr Ayman Batarfi, a 38-year-old orthopaedic surgeon, has been held in Guantánamo without charge or trial for nearly seven years. He is one of dozens of Yemeni detainees remaining in Guantánamo, despite calls by the Yemeni authorities to repatriate them. This case card calls on the US authorities to release him if he is not promptly charged.
