Sara Nugdallah was released from Omdurman Women’s Prison on 20 June 1994. Abdel Rasoul al-Nur was released from detention on 27 June because of his deteriorating health. He had been held in a secret detention centre known as a “ghost house” since April 1994, where he was ill-treated and held in poor conditions. He is now seriously ill in al-Mulazmein hospital in Omdurman.
