This report is a response to the state report submitted by the government of Zimbabwe to the African Commission on Human and Peoples' Rights. Each chapter of this report was produced by a different human rights organization as follows: Human rights violations under the land reform programme and Operation Murambatsvina by Human Rights Watch; Attacks on the rule of law by International Bar Association; Torture and ill-treatment by Redress; Violations of the rights to freedom of association and assembly by Amnesty International and Violations of the right to freedom of expression by ARTICLE 19.
