In this document Amnesty International welcomes the Nigerian government’s engagement with the UN Universal Periodic Review (UPR) and its stated commitment to cooperate in every aspect of the mandate of the Human Rights Council The organisation calls on the government to accept and implement as many of the recommendations of the UPR as possible and as a matter of urgency.
