As part of the international effort to aid Burundi's transition to peace and rebuild its infrastructure, Amnesty International sets out a number of recommendations to the International Donor Conference on Burundi. Key human rights issues such as combating impunity, improving conditions of detention and the protection of refugees and the internally displaced, are in vital need of assistance and support if the peace process is to succeed.
