Human rights violations fuel the HIV/AIDS pandemic. In this document Amnesty International calls on governments to: Fulfil the international commitment to the right of health; Remove funding conditions that inhibit the prevention of HIV/AIDS; Ensure equal access to treatment; Ensure access to information; Guarantee sexual and reproductive rights; Safeguard women’s rights and stop violence against women; Ensure participation of people living with HIV/AIDS; Share equally the benefits of scientific progress; Affirm the right to privacy and confidentiality; Ensure monitoring and evaluation for human rights and evidence-based solutions.
