Georgia: Uprooted Again: Forced evictions of the internally displaced persons in Georgia

In this briefing, Amnesty International analyses concerns that have arisen from a series of forced evictions of internally displaced people living in temporary shelters and collective centres in Tbilisi. The Georgian government has failed to respect internally displaced persons’ right to be protected from forced evictions; to take an informed part in the process and to ensure in all cases of resettlement their right to adequate housing and access to livelihood opportunities.
